Last week, I attended the DPA Golden Globes gifting suite at the ultra-luxe Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Walking into the courtyard, full of Bentleys, Maseratis, and Lamborghinis, I saw Simon Cowell from American Idol
sitting in the back sit of a Phantom Bentley. Yes he did have a chauffeur! Coming back to reality, I went downstairs
to the gifting suite and first sat down with Celebrity manicurist Nettie Davis who recently worked with Leona Lewis,
and owns her own line of products called Nettie Scrub and got my nails done. I picked a deep dark metallic red.
Ladies, metallics on nails are really trendy right now! Making the rounds I learned about several new boutique
lines. Out of the samples I received, (trumphet sound) I am excited to try MD Lash Factor's Eye Conditioner (it
grows your lashes), Sisley's Instant Perfect (a foundation primer, that minimizes fine lines), and Brazilian Blowout's
Deep Conditioning Masque (an anti-frizz deep conditioner). Stay tuned for my reviews!
